History

The museum which was originally donated by Franklin Salisbury, is owned by the town of Randolph, which does not charge rent. Its most impressive feature is a re-creation of a Main Street drug store once operated by Laurence Leonard, who donated it to the society in his will. The museum was created in the early 1970s and is open during certain weekends and by request.

The Randolph Historical Society was incorporated as a non-profit in 1980.
